The Red Apple

Slowly you emerge into a shallow life without sight.

You are whole, but not a pear, red, but not blue.

For new life is in you, spreading like a wild fire.

How red you are when you first bloom, you are truly a delight to be hold.

When I pick you from your tree, you weep with pleasure for knowing I will harness your existence in order to grow stronger.
